When you have click and open "event notifications" enabled as part of an integration, your message editor's first page will have this extra orange box, which is only there when the extra event notifications are enabled.
If you decide that an email campaign should not also sync events back to your systems through this integration, you can untick one or both of them before saving the email.
It will ask you to confirm, because it is an unpopular choice and might have been a misclick.
If you uncheck the "HTML message links" checkbox it will not disable the sync.
